CairnRoaming

Terms of service

Last updated: 14 July 2026

The deal

CairnRoaming (“we”) is an outdoor navigation game built and run by an independent developer in the UK. By creating an account or joining a session you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

Play safely — this one matters

CairnRoaming happens in the real world, and the real world has roads, rivers, cliffs and weather. You take part at your own risk. You agree to:

  • watch where you’re going — eyes up, especially near traffic;
  • obey the law, including trespass law — no point is ever worth entering private land, railways or restricted areas;
  • judge conditions for yourself — if terrain, weather or daylight make a point unsafe, leave it;
  • supervise any minors in your group.

Generated points are placed using open map data, which can be wrong or out of date. A point’s existence is never an instruction to go somewhere unsafe or unlawful.

Fair play

Captures are validated server-side. GPS spoofing, location tampering, submitting fake photos or any other cheating may lead to removed scores, voided sessions or a banned account. Don’t be the reason a leaderboard has an asterisk.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos and messages you submit. You grant us a licence to store, process and display them as needed to run the game (for example, showing a capture photo to the other people in your game). Don’t submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights — we may remove content and suspend accounts that do.

Accounts

You’re responsible for your account and keeping access to it secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from taking part in games, from reliance on generated points or map data, or from service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. Questions: hazinexgames@outlook.com.
